Your First Visit to Our Roanoke Practice

The remarks that we hear the most about a patient's first visit to our clinic is how homey, positive and happy our clinic feels. You will most likely encounter quite a few smiling happy patients - for real. The office seriously just feels good. A healthy positive atmosphere that we don't try to create - it just is.
You will find that we have plenty of parking in our well-lit parking lot that is a few steps away from our front door. We work very hard not to keep our patients waiting and you will be seen on time. Our receptionist will give you paperwork to fill out and when completed, you will have a consultation with Dr. K or Dr. Susan. During that consult, the doctor will have a pretty good idea of what the cause of the problem is. If the doctor thinks that chiropractic may help you, you will be given a thorough examination to find the exact cause of your underlying problem. X-rays are not always necessary but at times they are and the doctor will discuss that with you. We understand that most people come to us in pain and desire some type of relief, so in most cases physiotherapy will be used to decrease symptoms. Your total clinic time should not exceed an hour to an hour and a half. Wearing comfortable loose clothing is a plus. Our insurance department will most likely know exactly what your coverage is and will assist you with any questions that you might have.
This first visit is a fact finding mission to understand exactly what is the underlying cause of your problem. We also feel very strongly that we explain every thing we do and obtain your permission first before we do anything. I know its a cliche' but we will treat you like family because we really do care about you and your health. You see, the cause of your health problem is like a rock thrown into a pond. It has ripple effects; your health affects you and everyone around you. Lets get you back to waking up feeling good again!
Patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!
